There is also the option to specialise as an Electronics Technician Submariner and be a part of the most exclusive and stable workforce in Australia. Your role will be to ensure the submarine's torpedo-firing systems, underwater sonars, navigation systems, periscopes and other high-tech systems are kept in peak working order onboard a submarine and ashore.

Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $77,451 for surface fleet and $90,437 for submariners.
