Fabricator

Oxley Nu-Look Windows is looking for a full time factory fabricator to join their production team.

This is a hands on and physical role assembling and preparing materials to make windows and doors including Aluminium, glass and timber while working with components and assembly items.

We make high quality products such as doors, windows and commercial frames for custom home builders, and construction companies.

Being part of an organized team this role demands someone who likes to work within a routine of assembling parts and following instructions to make the final product. Whether it’s a window sash, attaching a window winder, or stapling timber together - every part is essential to the perfect final product.

Worker Skills required:

Must be comfortable with a range of power hand tools such as drills

Able to handle small and fiddly items such as screws, rivets and stickers.

Ability to safely use machinery such as drop saws and machine presses

Able to read and understand measurements in mm increments

Attention to quality workmanship

Work safely around factory equipment and heavy plant

Individual Personal skills

Able to communicate clearly both in writing and speaking

Presentable appearance with good physical fitness

Able to work under supervision and follow instructions

Work to deadlines as directed

Be a team played focused on group goals

Car license, no restrictions

No criminal record last 5 years

White card

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

• Christmas bonus
• Overtime pay
• Penalty rates

Experience:

• Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Window assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
• Fabrication: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver Licence (Required)
