SBAT Available – Opportunity to progress through Stage One of their apprenticeship within the Furniture Making Industry and gain credit towards their HSC.
Certificate II in Furniture Making Pathways MSF20516
This course provides students with a broad range of skills and knowledge of the furniture industry. Workplace health and safety and hand and power tools are a major feature of this course. In the workshop the students will be involved with projects such as making coffee tables and filing units.
Students have the opportunity to develop skills in a full range of cabinetmaking machinist processes.
Cabinetmakers make or repair furniture using solid timber, flat-panel or timber-based products
