As parents and carers we often take on the problems and issues of others in our lives. We want to protect, help, fix and solve issues for our kids and loved ones so that they don’t have to bare the load themselves, but this can leave us exhausted and depleted.

This week’s tip is all about caring for yourself…easier said than done, but important to try. Set aside some time for yourself to do something you really enjoy such as a hobby, a walk, read a good book or watch that movie you have been meaning to.
