Furniture Making
Free
This course provides students with a broad range of skills and knowledge of the furniture industry. Occupational health and safety and hand and power tools are a major feature of this course. In the workshop the students will be involved with projects such as making an advanced CD stacker, coffee tables and shelving units.
Students have the opportunity to develop skills in a full range of cabinetmaking machinist processes.
Cabinetmakers make or repair furniture using solid timber, flat-panel or timber-based products.
